Brushing Up on Opus

We have scheduled more training sessions for staff users. We have sessions for new users or those seeking to brush up on Opus/Interfolio — April 20 at 1pm and April 26 at 10am at Murphy Hall. We also have upcoming sessions geared toward School of Medicine staff on April 24 at 1pm and April 27 at 1pm in the Biomedical Library. For more details and to rsvp, please see the Workshops & Events page on our Help site.

Reminders

Something Seems Different…

If you’ve logged into Interfolio recently you’ve likely noticed that the interface was recently redesigned. If you’re wondering where to find features you’ve used in the past, check out the archived video of our last Zoom with Opus session, Interfolio 101. You can download this video on our Workshops & Events page.

Make Your Voice Heard

Would you be interested in having an impact on Opus development? Would you like to help us make the application easier and more useful? We’re currently seeking volunteers to participate in our user research program. Our approach will be low-impact, involving just a short visit to your office (about one hour), where we’ll ask you about your experience. We’ll supply any materials required. If you would like to participate, please write Opus Help.

Watch Your Step (and Committee)

Some users have reported problems sending cases forward in the new Interfolio interface. When clicking the “Send Case” button in Interfolio to send a case forward, you’ll find options to send the case either forward to the next step or backward to the previous step. If you select the “Send Forward” option, you’ll come to a window where you’ll compose a notification email for the committee receiving the case at the next step. Please double-check the committee name to make sure it’s the correct group, and please compose an email letting them know what to do (otherwise, that committee will not receive notice that the case is awaiting their attention).
