Updates

Downtime and Improvements

Opus will be unavailable tomorrow morning, from 8 to 10am, while we perform a system upgrade. This update will take Opus to version 2.2 and includes:

Salaries

Salary data will will be updated to reflect July 1, 2017 range adjustment and discretionary increases. Please email us at opushelp@ucla.edu if you see any incorrect salary data after this update.

Eligibility

This update will also correct the display of multiple departments on the Eligibility screen.

Multi-Factor Now Required at UCLA

Multi-Factor Authentication is here! As of Tuesday October 31, all faculty and staff at UCLA are required to use multi-factor authentication to access campus systems such as Opus and Recruit. Please direct your faculty to your local IT department if they need assistance setting it up.

Reminders

UCLA Cases Start in Opus, Not Interfolio

You might notice a button in Interfolio that says “Create Case.” Please do not use this button. We’re working with Interfolio to hide this interface element for our users, but in the meantime, Opus users should always start their cases in Opus, then use the “Go to Interfolio” button to send the case to Interfolio. Following these guidelines ensures that Opus data remains in sync with Interfolio data — among other things, this allows users to track the case location in Opus once it leaves their department.

Export to Excel? Check.

The Export to Excel feature is now fully functional on the Cases, Eligibility, Roster, and Salary pages in Opus. Clicking the button, located in the upper-right, will download a (.csv) file of the table as displayed on the page, including any custom filtering or sorting options you’ve selected.

New Feature for New Hires

You can now import candidates from Recruit into Opus and then send the case to Interfolio for online review.
