Making someone a committee manager in Interfolio allows them to do several things that regular committee members can’t.

Interfolio has two types of committee members: regular members and committee managers. Both types have case access whenever a case is on a step where their committee is assigned, but those with committee manager status can do several more tasks.

Regular committee members can:

  • View case materials

  • Download case materials (unless an Interfolio administrator has prohibited this feature)

In addition to the above, committee managers can also:

  • Email the candidate

  • Email committee members

  • Upload, view and download case materials, and share them with the candidate and/or committee members

  • Adjust the access level of case materials

  • Unlock case sections to allow candidates to access forms or upload documents

  • Assign temporary members to their committee for the duration of the case

  • Recuse a member of their committee from a case review step

  • Move a case forward
