Yes. This is how cases move through their steps in Interfolio. Remember,  however, to always click the "Notify Candidate" button before sending a case forward for the first time.

Note: For multi-department review cases, the department that initiates the case is the only department that should send a case forward.


A case will not move to the next step in Interfolio until an administrator clicks the “Send Forward” button. Various users can add materials to the case, but the committee members at the next step will not have access to them until this button is clicked.
