The Candidate Requirements screen in Interfolio allows administrative users to designate requirements for candidates who log in to work on their dossiers (packets).

This screen can be regarded as allowing the administrator to customize the Interfolio interface for a candidate when they log into the case. By adding requirements, the administrator tells Interfolio to "ask" the candidate for something, either to upload a document or to fill out a form. By removing requirements, the admin prevents the candidate from being asked for these.

Many Opus templates have candidate requirements in them, so when logging into cases that were based on these templates, candidates are asked to upload documents "by default." Administrators can often make their candidates' experience in Opus/Interfolio easier by correctly adjusting the settings on the Candidate Requirements screen, adding requirements for all those documents which the candidate needs to upload, and deleting any requirements for documents which the candidate will not upload.
