It depends on the action of the cases, and the policy surrounding these actions (Renewals no, Reappointments, yes).


Since Renewals require peer review voting, the tool creates cases for these actions but does not immediately approve them. Reappointments on the other hand, do not require voting and so the bulk Reappointment tool does approve them at the same time as creating them.


If you're creating cases for Renewals in bulk, you may want to link some of these cases to existing Interfolio cases (packets/dossiers). See the article below for instructions on how to do this.


If you need to create a Reappointment case that requires review, you should not use the bulk case creation tool — start the case in the regular way instead.
