Sometimes you'll want to use the same Interfolio case (which houses the packet/dossier materials for the case) with multiple Opus cases. This is accomplished by creating an Interfolio case from one of the Opus cases, then linking the other Opus cases to the new Interfolio case. Once they are linked, the Opus cases will share a common packet/dossier, and the "Go to Interfolio" buttons from each will open the same case in Interfolio. The instructions below assume that you've already completed the first part of these — if you haven't started an Interfolio case yet, you'll want to follow the instructions in the article, How to Access Interfolio for Administrators, linked near the bottom of this page.

Summary

Step 1. Open the Opus Case

Step 2. Click the "Go to Interfolio" Button

Step 3. Select the Existing Interfolio Case

Step 1. Open the Opus Case

Navigate to the Cases page in Opus and click the pencil icon in the row of the case that you want to link to Interfolio. Opus displays the Case Summary, as shown below.

Step 2. Click the "Go to Interfolio" Button

Wait for the Case Summary to load completely, then click the "Review Process" link. If you click the link before the page loads, you'll need to reload the page and try again. Opus displays the "Go to Interfolio" button. Click it.

Step 3. Select the Existing Interfolio Case

Whenever you click the "Go to Interfolio" button from a case for an appointee who has at least one case already open in Interfolio, Opus shows you a list of open Interfolio cases and gives you the option of linking the current case to one of them. Use this option by selecting the appropriate Interfolio case (if Opus displays more than one Interfolio case here, identify the correct one by the template information shown) and click "OK" as shown below.

After a few seconds, Opus will open the Intefolio case in a new tab in your browser (if this doesn't occur, check your browser's popup blocker settings — it must be disabled, either temporarily or for the Opus website in general, in order for this feature to work).
