As an administrator or review committee member, you can access materials that have been uploaded to the case, whether by the candidate (who must upload and submit these materials), by administrators, or by committee members. In the example that follows, an administrator has uploaded several documents, one of which (the Data Summary) we view. These instructions can be used to access any documents in the case.

Summary

Step 1. Log into Interfolio

Step 2. View the Cases Page

Step 3. Open the Case

Step 4. Click "Read Case" or Document Title

Step 5. Download

Step 1. Log into Interfolio

You can access Interfolio either by clicking on links in an email you receive, or by navigating to their website directly at www.interfolio.com. Instructions for logging in can be found in the article, How to Access Interfolio for Review Committee Members, linked near the bottom of this page. Be sure to use the "Partner Institution" link to access the UCLA Logon system when logging in.

Step 2. View the Cases Page

The first page you see after logging into Interfolio is the Dashboard. Click the "Cases" link on the left, or if the case you want to access is listed in the "Your Action Items" section, click the candidate's name to skip to Step 4.

Step 3. Open the Case

Interfolio displays a list of cases available to you, identified by candidate. Click the name of the candidate whose case materials you want to view.

Step 4. Click "Read Case" or Document Title

Interfolio opens the document viewer. This page allows you to select a document from the left column, and view its contents in the main area:

Step 5. Download

If you wish to download (which would also allow you to print) materials from the dossier, click the "Download" button and select an option: either download the document, or download the packet.

If you select the "Packet" option in the screenshot above, Interfolio asks you which documents from the packet you would like to download, and in which format (PDF or ZIP). The PDF option compiles all the documents you select, retaining their order in the packet, into a single PDF. The ZIP option saves all the documents as separate files (named individually) into a single ZIP archive. Users report that one advantage to the PDF option is the preservation of document order in the packet, however if you want individual files you'll need to choose the ZIP option.

After you've requested your download, Interfolio displays a verification message in the lower-left corner. Instead of downloading the requested materials immediately, Interfolio sends you an email with a link. Click that link to download your file(s).
