Appointees' activities are related to the role they're playing, which falls into one of three categories: Faculty may be the candidate undergoing a review, they may be a review committee member, or they may be a department chair or dean.
Review candidates typically review, certify and/or upload case materials. They do this by working with the "packet" features in Interfolio — this packet is analogous to UCLA’s traditional case dossier. For more information about performing these tasks, see the articles linked near the bottom of this page.
Committee members typically review and communicate about case materials. These materials are accessed through emails that committee members receive from Interfolio.
Faculty who are department chairs and deans, similarly to committee members, review and communicate about case materials, and similarly to committee members, these materials are accessed through emails that chairs and deans receive from Interfolio.
