When it's time to certify your case packet/dossier (Interfolio's "packet" is equivalent to UCLA's "dossier") in Interfolio, you'll receive an email from an administrator asking you to log in, and to fill out and submit a form. This article tells you how to do that, and assumes that you are ready to certify. For information on accessing documents in Interfolio, please see the article linked near the bottom of this page. For this example, we use Prior Certificaiton Form #1, but the same instructions can be used to submit any form in Interfolio.

Step 1. Log into Interfolio
You can access Interfolio either by clicking on links in an email you receive, or by navigating to their website directly at www.interfolio.com. Instructions for logging in can be found in the article, How to Access Interfolio for Faculty, linked near the bottom of this page.
Step 2. View Your Packet
The first page you see after logging into Interfolio is the Dashboard. Click the "Your Packets" link.

Interfolio shows you a list of any case packets assigned to you, both active and completed. In the "Active" section, click the name of the packet where you want to submit the form.

Interfolio shows you the Overview tab of the packet you've selected. Click the "Packet" link as shown below.

Certification forms should be in a section labelled "Candidate Responses and Certifications."

Step 3. Click "Fill Out Form"
Click the "Fill Out Form" button next to the desired form, as shown below.

Step 4. Complete the Form
Interfolio displays the fields of the form. Read the text, and fill in the fields as required.

Scroll down the page until all the fields have been filled out, then click the "Return to Packet" button to save the form.

Step 5. Submit the Form's Section
After you click the "Return to Packet" button, Interfolio returns to the Packet tab. Scroll down again to find the section with your form and click the "Submit" button when you're ready to send the form to your administrator.

Interfolio displays a confirmation message. If everything is OK, click the "Yes" button to finalize your submission.

Step 6. Communicate With Your Administrator
Once your form is submitted, contact your administrator to let them know that you've completed the task.
