No, Opus users cannot directly delete appointees from Opus.


If an appointment needs to end earlier than the current end date, users should start a case for an End Appointment action instead. Similarly, if someone separates from the university, this separation shows up in UCPath, and they will no longer be visible in Opus. In order to bring such appointees back into Opus, users must start a new case for either a New Appointment or a Reappointment action.


If the appointee in question is retiring, see the article linked below. If the appointee is in Opus erroneously, please contact the Academic Affairs and Personnel Office — their administrative staff can delete appointments in Opus.
