Faculty and Academic Appointees should sign into Interfolio instead.
Signing into Opus is easy — it’s the same process as signing into many other university systems, and you’ll use your University Logon ID. If you don't yet have a UCLA University ID, you'll need to get that first. If you do have a UID, but you don't yet have permission to access Opus, you will see an "access denied" message after you sign in through the UCLA system. In this scenario, see the article linked near the bottom of this page to request access.
Getting a UCLA Logon ID
If you don't yet have a UCLA Logon ID, getting one is the first step in accessing Opus (and many other systems at UCLA). See: https://it.ucla.edu/iamucla/create-logon
Signing Into Opus
1. Navigate to Opus
Visit https://www.opus.ucla.edu.
2. Click the Sign In Button

3. Sign in Using Your UID
Opus uses the standard UCLA Logon ID system. If you have not activated UCLA's Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for your UCLA Logon ID, Opus will require you to do that before signing in. For more information about MFA, search the UCLA IT Services website (https://www.it.ucla.edu/) for "Multi-Factor Authentication." That site features articles with background on using MFA, and instructions for setting it up.

Once you’ve signed in, you’ll see the Dashboard page. From here you can find any Opus features you have permission to access:
One of the Dashboard pages (dashboard type depends on login privileges).
4. But What if Opus Doesn’t Let You In?
It’s possible that instead of seeing the dashboard page, you’ll get a message like this one:
The Opus access denied message. Click this image to view a larger version.
This means you don’t yet have access to Opus. In this case, you’ll just need to request access.
