Sometimes you may want to do something in Interfolio, but you find you can't, and you may wonder why. Often this arises because of permissions issues associated with your user role. If you're wondering about your permissions, there is an easy way to check which level of access you have. If you need your privileges changed, contact Opus Help for more information.

Step 1. Log into Interfolio

Step 2. View the Cases Page

Step 1. Log into Interfolio

You can access Interfolio either by clicking on links in an email you receive, or by navigating to their website directly at www.interfolio.com. Instructions for logging in can be found in the How to Access Interfolio… articles, linked near the bottom of this page.

When you first log in, Interfolio displays your dashboard. If you have administrative privileges in Interfolio, you will see extra items in the menu at the left of the page:

  • Templates
  • Administration
  • Reports
  • Users and Groups

If you are either a committee manager or committee member, your dashboard doesn't feature these links, but instead only has:

  • Home
  • Your Packets (possibly)
  • Cases

Step 2. View the Cases Page

If your dashboard looks like the second screenshot in Step 1, open a case (click the name in the "Your Action Items" section above, or click the "Cases" button, then click a case). You will see the Case Materials tab on the Case page. If you are a committee manager, you will see a "Send Case" and a "Case Options" button near the top of the page, as shown below.

If you are a committee member, you won't see the buttons shown in the screenshot above. Instead, your interface will look like the below:
