If you log into Interfolio’s website incorrectly (without using the "Partner Institution" link) with an email address that’s associated with a UCLA Logon ID, your Interfolio Dashboard will include new items as a result of Opus’ integration with Interfolio.
Opus uses a subset of Interfolio’s functionalities to facilitate online academic review. Interfolio offers other products with which you may be familiar as an individual customer — these include a letter of recommendation service, dossier and CV management, etc.
If you’ve previously established an Interfolio account based on your UCLA Logon email address, then Interfolio adds “Promotion and Tenure” as an option on your dashboard. Most users (particularly academic appointees) can disregard that link for the time being. In the future, academic personnel staff in your department will notify you when actions are required of you in Interfolio, whether as a candidate or committee member.
