When viewing a case, the administrator can perform activities related to the work of academic review. When editing a case, an administrator can configure the case itself in various ways.


When an admin clicks on a case from the Cases screen in Interfolio, the case opens in "view mode." When the pencil icon on the "view" screen is clicked, the case shifts into "edit mode."


When viewing, the admin can:

  • Notify the candidate
  • View case materials
  • Upload case materials
  • View the case's Activity Log
  • Email the candidate or committee members
  • Send the case forward
  • Add temporary members to the committee at the current step
  • And more…


When editing, the admin can:

  • Assign committees to case steps
  • Assign members to committees
  • Create ad-hoc committees
  • Add or remove candidate requirements (customize what Interfolio asks the candidate for when they log in)
  • Recuse committee members or administrators from case steps
  • And more…
