You can now assign a department or dean's office administrator to a specific case in Opus. 


Navigate to the Cases page in Opus and click the edit pencil next to the case you want to assign.



On the Case Summary page, you'll see the assigned analysts on the top right.



To assign a department, dean's office, or AAPO analyst, click the edit pencil and choose the analyst from the dropdown. You can also add the assignment date if desired. The assignment date will be visible in the Cases at my Office report. 



If the case is for an appointment set, only the analysts from the Primary department or school will be available. After clicking save, there is a brief delay before the analyst is displayed on the page. For smaller schools, the department analyst dropdown may be empty as everyone is assigned a dean's office role.


Once you have assigned staff to specific cases, you can filter the Cases at my Office report by analyst and sort by assignment date.


Go to the Cases at my Office tab and click "Change Columns". Add the Department or Dean's Office Analyst columns. Sort or filter the column.
