Export to Excel
The Export to Excel button on the Active Cases, Eligibility, and Salary Report pages does not work on Internet Explorer. We are researching a fix for this in a future release.

Private Mode Won't Load Data
Opus will not load data if Safari is set to Private Mode. If you don't see data loading, ensure your browser is not set to this mode.
Blocking Popup Windows Disables Certain Functionalities
Popup blockers may prevent users from accessing certain Opus features. For example, when clicking the “Go to Interfolio” button on the Case Summary page, if the user’s browser is blocking popup windows, it’s possible that the browser will not open the Interfolio site in a new window. To address this issue, users should either disable the popup blocker feature when using Opus, or add Opus to the list of "allowed" sites in their popup blocker settings. Instructions for individual browsers are beyond the scope of this article, but searching for "popup blocker settings <browser name>" in a web search engine should lead to instructions.
MIMG Appointments Show as Duplicates in Start a Case Modals
When starting a case, the user often has the opportunity to select an existing appointment, and then apply the action in the new case to it. When starting a case for someone in the department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics, the appointee may seem to have multiple, duplicate appointments, as shown in the following screenshot. This issue will be addressed in a future release, where cross-department MIMG appointments will be displayed as single appointments in Opus.

APU Code Fails to Show in Menus
Opus has a few issues related to Academic Program Units (APUs). Firstly, in modal windows for cases and profiles, the APU dropdown menus are not showing the numeric prefix of the APU — they only show the description. This can cause confusion because many APUs have similar names. Secondly, on the Profiles page (as opposed to the modal windows accessed from this page), APUs are not currently visible at all. APU-related issues will be addressed in a future Opus release.
Delete a Case Table Seems to Delete Multiple Cases
When deleting a particular case for a particular appointee from the Active Cases data tabe, all cases for the appointee seem to disappear. To resolve this the user reloads the page, which causes the other cases to again appear in the table, with only the deleted case being removed. This is a known issue that the Opus Development Team is working to resolve.
Outcomes Column on Completed Cases Won't Filter on Some Types
The table on the Completed Cases page has a dropdown menu column filter in the Outcomes column, but it doesn't include every possible item in that column. Consequently, the results of this filter are unpredictable. The Opus Development Team is aware of this issue, and is working to resolve it.
Certain Title Codes Are Missing in Opus
Certain title codes don't show up in the dropdown menus of the Start a Case modal windows. Opus is working to resolve this issue. In the meantime, users who need to start cases using one of these title codes, or who spot an academic appointee with an incorrect title code, should get in touch with Opus Support — see the article linked near the bottom of this page for more information.
